We seek an experienced web and graphics designer. The candidate will assist in designing next generation, intuitive User Interfaces for applications on various platforms, developing promotional videos, and translating user ideas into reality.



Must have the following skills:

Demonstrated expertise in visual design

Demonstrated expertise developing with Adobe Creative Suite 6

Demonstrated Experience developing on Mac and PC

Demonstrated Experience developing in CSS and HTML

Demonstrated Excellent communications skills

Demonstrated Ability to work in teams



Essential Job Functions

Develops complex code and integrates artwork, text, video, and sound into client websites.

Creates complex, customized applications to enhance website capability based on business needs.

Builds table frames and forms and writes complex script within the browser to enhance site functionality.

Ensures that web pages are functional across different browser types; conducts test to verify user functionality. Assists in resolving complex production support problems by identifying issues and recommending, and when approved, implementing solutions.

Investigates and resolves matters of significance for end-user problems and escalates if necessary.

Provides support for business system analysis and process definition.

Works with end users to address requirements, usability, accessibility, security, and change requests to ensure website functionality. Identifies issues and recommends solutions.

Creates test plans, and reports test results. Works with outside vendors as necessary, in developing tests to ensure future site functionality.

Researches, tracks, and understands new web technologies to provide technical leadership in developing service applications and analyzing business requirements.

Assists with cost management for site project. Performs necessary quality assurance activities to ensure optimum site functionality.

May provide leadership and work guidance to less experienced personnel.



Qualifications

Basic Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field preferred

  • Six or more years of web, internet, or programmer/analyst experience

  • Experience working with local area and wide area networks

  • Experience working with web authoring languages such as C++, Java, XML, HTML, CGI, ASP

  • Experience working with multimedia applications, database interactions and data modeling tools



    Other Qualifications


    • Experience with Autodesk Max Entertainment Creation Suite

    • Experience with Wireframing technologies

    • Experience with Adobe Design Premium and Final Cut Pro

    • Knowledge of Maya Animation Software

    • Good analytical and problem solving skills for design, creation, and testing of internet/intranet web sites

    • Good interpersonal skill to interact with customers and team members

    • Good communication skills to interact with team members and support personnel

    • Ability to work in a team environment

    • Ability to lead others on the project team
