OHS Manager - 13 Month Contract

An immediate opportunity has arisen for an experienced OHS Manager to join them on a 13 month maternity cover contract.



Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of the Occupational Safety and Health Management System and associated corporate management practices and procedures. In addition to providing operational OHS advice to the business and its employees, you will also be responsible for mentoring and coaching a team of 3 direct reports; a Senior Occupational Safety and Health Advisor, a Occupational Safety and Health Advisor and a Workers Compensation Officer.



The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a proven record of developing and implementing corporate OHS policies, procedures and training programs within a large multi-disciplinary organisation. Diverse industry experience is essential to be considered as is experience in mentoring and coaching direct reports in Occupational Safety and Health, Health and Well-being and Workers Compensation. Formal tertiary qualifications in Occupational Safety and Health Management, Diploma level or greater are essential.
