Our client is a FTSE 250 company that looks after the interests of approximately 5 million policy holders. They specialise in taking over and managing closed life and pension funds and are a well-known brand. A brand new vacancy has arisen for a Senior Compliance Monitoring Consultant to join their team.



Your primary role will be to conduct compliance monitoring reviews and internal audit for Life and Pensions. The ideal candidate will be a Conduct Risk expert with knowledge and experience of the "3 lines of defence model". You will be field-based majority of the time, visiting companies and suppliers to conduct challenging reviews. Therefore, you must possess both hard and soft interviewing skills with the confidence to challenge objections.



Essential Skills



Relevant professional qualifications (Risk) will be an advantage but experience of Conduct Risk is more important

Willing to travel and conduct compliance monitoring reviews/audit

Must have a banking / financial services / insurance background within compliance where you have dealt with life and pensions

Some experience of mentoring and coaching compliance monitoring consultants

Assist in the preparation for of final reports for discussion and issue
