Site Purchasing Leader
Fantastic opportunity to help develop and deliver local sourcing strategy for the site covering both Direct and Indirect spend
Deliver Site sourcing projects on time and to target savings
⢠Conduct spend analyses, analyse supply markets, identify sourcing value levers, execute competitive RFI's/ RFP's and lead supplier negotiations
⢠Gather stakeholder and subject matter insights / business requirements to ensure sourcing solutions meet business needs
⢠Determine local sourcing decisions based on best fit to cost, availability and technical requirements
⢠Instigate and lead cross-functional involvement in Value Analysis and Value Engineering process
⢠Work in partnership with Global Strategic Sourcing group to achieve regional, global and local benefits through alignment and leverage of purchasing power
â¢Enable effective decision making by promoting a high co-ordination team culture across operations and wider business areas in relation to site spend
Required Skills / Qualifications
⢠Strong partnership approach to supplier management, ideally with experience of producing mutual gain long term relationships
⢠Technical acumen - Excellent understanding of core engineering design and manufacturing engineering process
⢠Excellent negotiation and strategic sourcing skills
⢠Experience presenting and reporting cost savings, cost efficiencies and continuous improvements at Senior Management level
⢠Ideally CIPS Qualified
