SQL Developer

Leeds, United Kingdom, GB - Information Technology and Services

SQL Developer required for a 3 month contract based in West Yorkshire



Our client based in Bradford is looking to recruit a SQL Developer for an initial 3 month contract.



Skills & Experience:

Essential:

SQL Server 2005 and SQL 2008 R2, SSMS, SSIS, BIDS, stored procedures (transactional SQL)

Experience in Access and excel

Understanding of data management (data storage/transfer) and Relational databases (inc performance, compression & security)

Track record of supporting Business Intelligence initiatives

Attention to detail/accuracy - code & documentation

Problem solving track record, able to draw on previous experience, to think out of the box



Desirable:

Experience of working within an established and structured Development life cycle

Experience of migrating from SQL 2005 to 2008 R2

Previous exposure of working within project life cycle

Previous experience of working within the Financial Sector and/or HR function



This is a great chance for a SQL developer to join a successful team on an exciting piece of work

Candidates will ideally be based within commutable distance
