  • Latin-Europe Area (LEA) Strategic Space Planner



    Primary Function:




    • Actively supports and provides leadership for HP’s Global Workplace Services in LEA.

    • Provides direction & leadership for the IFM Space Planning Team.

    • Assures HP workplace strategy & design guidelines are understood by HP businesses and within GRE team.

    • Supports the implementation of HP’s standards in all workplace projects.

    • Key advocate for HP-workplace by providing training and communication as appropriate.

    • Provides tactical space planning services and supports development of tactical space plans for all sites.

    • Facilitates implementation of tactical space plans by coordinating efforts with HP and supplier teams that deliver moves/building upgrades. Provide project management oversight on local reconfiguration projects.

    • Serves as an interface between HP and outsourced space planning/project management in providing information on options, project schedules and cost estimates for space solutions that meet HP and GRE savings objectives and that support business and operating needs.

    • Develops and keeps space utilization records and connects with business focal points regarding results and application in all workplace projects.






    Duties and Responsibilities:



    • Management of all office and inter office moves, adds and changes (MAC).

    • Financial accountability for the forecasting of all MAC related activities.

    • Proactively liaises with Global Workplace Strategies team to ensure all projects are implemented in line with HP guidelines and provides feedback to Global Workplace Strategies team on region specific requirements.

    • Review Real Estate strategy, timeframes, reporting to Senior GRE Management on a monthly basis.

    • Utilizes region processes for collecting key metrics (e.g. space utilization, cost metrics per employee, etc.).

    • Provide and maintain knowledge of the LEA active and inactive property portfolio (IPP) locations including space utilisation, organisational occupancy, sizes and layouts.

    • Manage all LEA office layout AutoCAD drawings ensuring they all reflect the current office layouts including headcount information and space data is correctly recorded in HP’s Global Real Estate management application.

    • Provide detailed proposals to Senior Management for the redesign and upgrade of office interiors including infrastructure.

    • Ensures standard HP workplace products are used in all projects (e.g. furniture, carpet, projectors, signage …).

    • Management of the LEA surplus furniture system and report on a monthly basis to EMEA Management.

    • Responsibility for the maintenance of all furniture systems used in all LEA locations.

    • Accountability for effective contractor management reporting for all aspects of space planning.

    • Oversees CAFM/REPS space reporting interface with IFM provider.










Qualifications

Minimum requirements:



  • Relevant Degree level qualification or equivalent in Architecture or Building Services Engineering.

  • Up to 3 years of experience in an office design or similar role.

  • Advanced technical knowledge of internal office design and layout principles including legal requirements.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in different geographical locations.

  • Capable of working on own initiative and directing third party service providers.

  • Ability to effectively communicate with senior management.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
