This federal government department is looking for an experienced Web Writer to undertake a long term contract position.



This federal government department has a focus on aid and development issues. They are looking for an experienced Web Writer to undertake a contract position until June 2015.



In this role, you will undertake a broad range of web publishing tasks across the Department's assigned program areas in order to increase the amount and quality of information that is published on their website. You will write document summaries for publication to the web as well as coordinate and prepare web content from various areas within the Department.



We are looking for someone that holds strong communication skills, as you will be required to liaise with local and national staff to identify and produce web content. You will also support program areas at overseas posts to develop information as required. Some international travel may be required.



To succeed in this role, you will have a proven ability to develop and deliver quality web documentation and content in tight timeframes. You will also be someone who has an aptitude for providing a high quality of service working both individually and as a team member.
