A globally renowned services company is seeking its first-ever Learning & Development specialist who will be based in Japan while supporting the regional business transformation.



This position's main objectives are to align with the business needs and to install and deliver appropriate talent development programs for a population of over 500 in APAC. This role is an individual contributor and will cover all aspects of L&D - from planning to facilitating - to optimize business performance. In order to assess the needs and tailor solutions, this person will closely liaise with business managers and senior executives. He or she will manage multiple on-going projects across the region, ensuring cost, vendor management, and timely service delivery. Most responsibilities will be executed in Japan; however, this person will frequently travel and report directly to the US Headquarters.



We're seeking a competent, passionate, and mobile L&D manager with strong analytical skills and business acumen someone who thinks around the box, has enthusiasm for people development of all levels and would like to influence major business transformations. An ideal candidate should have minimum 5 years' experience in Training, Talent Development, L&D, Coaching, and Talent Management. Strong communication skills in English and Japanese are required. Flexibility and ability to execute are key characteristics sought.
