An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Purchasing Officer to join national organisation on a contract basis. They specialise in the development and manufacturing of specialist electronics equipment for various applications across the mining sector.

Based on the Central Coast you will be responsible for the purchasing of raw materials and services related to the production of electronic components. You will be responsible for processing and expediting purchase orders to support the production needs and sales orders.

You will identify areas where cost can be reduced with existing suppliers and managing supplier's performance to ensure they are meeting contractual obligations.

To be successful in this role you must have at least 5 years experience in a similar role, have advanced ERP skills, have strong MS Office experience and strong interpersonal skills. Previous experience in the electrical sector would be preferred.
