At the heart of this mature engineering consultancy lie long-term client relationships and an approach that enables their people to shine. Due to significant growth over the last 18 months they now require an energy rating consultant to join their team of industry experts.



Reporting directly in the office manager the suitable consultant will analyse, rate, report, model and document ESD projects in line with the Nationwide House Energy Rating Scheme (NatHERS) framework. This will include presentation, preparation, evaluation and reporting using your strong background in sustainable engineering. To carry out the duties of this role the successful candidate will use FirstRates5, BERS pro and AccuRate software packages.



The ideal person for this position is an individual who is NatHERS accredited or someone who is currently studying the NatHERS accreditation and is near completing the course. Someone who has experience using the relevant sustainability software such as FirstRates5, BERS pro or AccuRate would also be looked on favourably. Coming from an engineering background is not essential however the right candidate must have a comprehensive knowledge of local standards and codes and must have a passion for low energy building solutions.
