Laboratory Manager (Central lab / Clinical lab)

A global clinical research organisation is seeking an experienced lab manager to lead the central lab operations here in Singapore.

Reporting to the Managing Director of the site, you will be overseeing the entire lab activities to ensure high standards. You will be given the opportunity to lead an established, yet growing lab of 30 plus medical technologists. Your key responsibilities are to manage the activities of the laboratory department within quality and budgetary guidelines. Monitors and review proficiency testing, operational and department budget, general laboratory quality control data, quality control systems and corrective actions.

To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced lab supervisor or lab manager within clinical diagnostics laboratory. A broad knowledge of clinical lab testing in microbiology, haematology, and clinical chemistry is needed. You are a people manager with strong problem solving abilities and able work under tight timelines.
