My client are a market leading glazing and cladding sub-contractor, working nationwide from their head office in North Suffolk, and are a business built on delivering a robust and high quality service to their clients on many leading projects.
They are currently seeking a Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager to join the team due to a dramatic uplift in tenders won and a healthy pipeline in place. They are experiencing an anticipated but rapid amount of growth and are looking to supplement this by adding to them team.
They are seeking someone with the capacity to come in and hit the ground running and who can offer management and guidance to the existing team, either starting out as Commercial Manager or progressing to the position over time, and who are suitably qualified and can demonstrate a previous track record working within the industry.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
- Background within Quantity Surveying; previous experience is essential and ideally this will cover experience with a subcontractor. A background specifically within glazing or cladding is desirable but not essential.
- A relevant qualification route, ideally degree qualified or HNC / HND.
- Ability to manage and prioritise workload, maintaining awareness of demands on different projects.
- Ability to undertake all other ad-hoc administrative duties.
- Ability to negotiate and liaise across subcontractors, colleagues and other senior management.
The suitable candidate will have a full, clean driving licence and own transport.
